New MA Applied Innovation course starting in September at Sunderland University
This exciting course will equip you with skills and knowledge in design thinking and strategic innovation. In a world where organisations are having to adapt faster than ever in order to survive, MA Applied Innovation offers great potential for opening doors to fascinating and rewarding jobs.
From day one of the course you’ll explore systematic processes for innovation, design and evaluation. Working partly in a design studio, you’ll develop your own prototypes and concepts, gaining hands-on experience of sustainable and holistic approaches. You’ll work both individually and as part of a team, and you’ll be taught by a unique mix of the University’s arts and creative and business and management academics.
Study loans are now available for this programme which aims at unlocking creativity and innovation across all kinds of businesses.
Design Network North is part of RTC’s new programme called ‘Designing Better Business’ – launched in 2016 - which will provide support for north east businesses looking to continue to innovate and design better world leading products.
RTC was founded in 1989 with the sole purpose of helping businesses innovate and create new higher value products. Today, the business operates out of offices in Sunderland, Gateshead, Leeds and Daresbury and specialises in helping companies develop new products, embed new skills through training and access funding for innovation.
‘Designing Better Business’ is part funded by European Regional Development Fund, as part of the European Structural and Investment Funds Growth Programme 2014-2020.
