The North East has plenty to offer which is reflected in recent finding in the Design Council’s Design Industry 2010 report. Here North-Eastern design businesses may only make up 2% of the UK’s total, but the region has 30% more designers now than it did in 2005 and more than double the average proportion of product and industrial designers.
