Newcastle was named as UK’s most creative city in The Drum’s recent survey beating Manchester and Glasgow.

Since 2005 the region has seen a 30% increase in the number of designers to more than 3,300. In total there are 232,000 designers across the UK*. With each designer having a variety of backgrounds, where do you start to select the best person to help your business?

A company’s portfolio as well as the clients they are working with are factors to take into consideration, however taking into account your instinct and personal connection is just as important.
