Jason Turner, Data2Action
Jason knows a bit about data, having spent ten years as Director of the BGL Group (owners of COMPARETHEMARKET.COM), and with Data2Action he is helping local businesses understand and use their data to improve their business performance.
Jason will show you how to not just get at the numbers, but to look behind them.
Paul Goodman, National Innovation Centre for Data
NICData, based at The Catalyst in Newcastle work with public bodies, the voluntary sector, SMEs and large corporations, to help them explore their data, give them the skills to analyse that data to identify trends and features, and to develop improvements in services, and even new products.Paul will tell us more.
James Wright, Strange Quark
James is an artist who studied on the Environmental Art course at the Glasgow School of Art, and has participated in residencies across Europe. He founded the artist studio Strange Quark Creative with the aim to create immersive data-driven digital experiences, and now works with organisations to help them visualise and understand their data in a more intuitive way.
Supply Chain North East sees four key partners joining forces to work with over 800 businesses between 2018-2021 supporting businesses to identify opportunities in new and existing markets. An integral part of the North East Growth Hub, Supply Chain North East is delivered across the region by RTC North, Generator, North East Automotive Alliance (NEAA) and North East Process Industry Cluster (NEPIC). Supply Chain North East is receiving up to £3,148,514 of funding from the England European Regional Development Fund as part of the European Structural and Investment Funds Growth Programme 2014-2020.
