GOPRINT3D PARENT COMPANY, EXPRESS GROUP, MAKES THE TOP 1000
The GoPrint3D marketing team were travelling back last week after celebrating being included in the Digital Top Enterprise Top 100 when they saw this tweet from Julian Smith (their local MP, Chief Whip of the House of Commons and Parliamentary Secretary to the Treasury):
Delighted to congratulate @Contis_ and @expressgroupltd from Skipton and Ripon on making it into @LSEGplc #1000companies report, celebrating the fastest growing and most dynamic SMEs across the UK.
— Julian Smith MP (@JulianSmithUK) June 27, 2019
Unbeknown to the team, but Express Group (of which GoPrint3D is a division of) had been listed in the London Stock Exchange Group's 'Top 1000 Businesses to Inspire Britain'.
The report is a celebration of the UK’s fastest-growing and most dynamic small and medium sized businesses (SMEs), with companies representing over 40 sectors and spanning every country and region across the UK.
To be selected for the list, businesses had to demonstrate not only positive revenue growth over the last three years but also outperform their sector peers. The result is a unique and varied list of the UK’s most dynamic companies. More details on the Companies to Inspire reports and methodology can be found online at www.1000companies.com
The criteria for eligibility included location, turnover and growth rate. To be selected for the list, businesses had then to demonstrate positive revenue growth over the last three years, and when compared with the rest of their sector, have most outperformed the sector average.
Naturally the team are delighted. There's also a trophy on its way, and they like trophies.
