Orion Product Development hit a major milestone
Orion Product Development celebrated their 10th anniversary at the end of November 2017.
Since their inception in 2007 the company has supplemented their customers’ teams with engineering and technical management support at any level required, working with a diverse range of clients from sole inventors to blue chip corporations.
The primary function of Orion Product Development is to develop new products and / or value engineer existing ones on behalf of the client, though they have also leveraged their significant experience to provide valued strategic support and Quality Management System development to those clients who don’t have the necessary in-house resource.
The company philosophy is to focus on socially responsible projects, which is evident in its portfolio. Examples of this diverse body of work range from innovative disability aids through to world-first off-highway electric vehicles, and from sustainable food packaging through to pioneering tidal energy platforms. A few patents have been gathered along the way, and Orion Product Development have firmly established themselves as a well-respected “go to” consultancy, with almost all of their business coming from either their existing clients or referral.
Company founder and Managing Director Kevin Urquhart said ”I am extremely proud to have reached this major milestone of 10 successful years in business, and would like to thank our valued clients, our trusted associates and the various local and national agencies that have helped us to get here. We have started our 11th year in business by undertaking contracts with two new clients and we look forward to offering the same level of bespoke technical consulting to them and our existing customers.
