Wonderstuff turns 9

Wonderstuff was founded in 2009 with a vision to build a brand and design agency that adds value for clients, supports staff, and leaves the planet a little better off.

Since then they have worked with clients of all sizes, from gin startups based here in the North East of England to established toy manufacturers based in China. Now, after 9 years they are reflecting on everything they have achieved, everyone they have worked with, and everything they have learned. More importantly though, they are looking forward to what they are going to do next.

For the last 4 years they have been separating their strategic approach from their design delivery as they knew they were making shortcuts and presumptions which didn't provide clients with the opportunity to consider their long term goals before they were swayed by creative approaches. During this time they have delivered focused work at either end of this spectrum, and often found that delivering a balance of these approaches – separate, but aligned – adds the most value.

Recently the founder Paul came across an old Japanese proverb: Vision without action is a daydream. Action without vision is a nightmare." The proverb sums up what Wonderstuff has been thinking - and developing.

This is their vision.
 They will have more conversations with clients about value, and how to create it for their organisation. They will provide space for clients to find clarity on their vision, then support them to take the action needed to realise it.
